A new word appears to be cropping up on spa and salon treatment lists around the UK: ‘nacial’.

Despite what the word might lead some to believe – no, this isn’t an intensive treatment for noses – the nacial is in fact a facial created for nails.

In fact, High Definition has recently launched The Nacial, created by CEO and Co-Founder Nilam Holmes-Patel. It is described as a step within a treatment to prime nails before polish or acrylics are applied. The treatment involves scrubbing the nail and nail bed to remove dirt and smoothe, before applying a serum to promote growth or nourish ‘over-processed’ nails.
