The beauty industry is embracing the current wellbeing trend with edible ingredients making their way into formulations, according to a new report by Canadean.

Juicing is a growing trend in the health and wellness industry, especially in mature markets, with juicing bars popping up on high streets and consumers investing in their own at-home smoothie kits.

But more and more, ingredients containing extracts of superfoods are finding their way into cosmetic products, with an emphasis on ingredients thought to have elevated antioxidant properties that have benefits when applied topically to the skin.
