Fashion and fragrance house Issey Miyake has launched two new scents to its L’Eau D’Issey franchise.
New L’Eau D’Issey Rose&Rose (from £65) is said to offer an “amplified intensity” to the brand’s iconic original, blending together Bulgarian and centifolia rose to create a feminine tone.
Top notes of pink pepper, raspberry and pear add fruitiness, while the heart, Bulgarian rose essence and rose infusion is balanced by fruity tones of osmanthus.
Finally, the base adds intensity thanks to patchouli, amber and cashmere.
The bottle has been reworked with delicately tinted pink glass and tactile cap that is said to capture the smoothness of a rose petal.
For men, L’Eau D’Issey Pour Homme Wood&Wood (from £51), represents strength, power and assured masculinity, according to the Shiseido-owned brand, and is centred around cedarwood and sandalwood.
The scent opens with notes of grapefruit, cardamom and elemi, moving to a heart of ambrox, apricot, Virginian cedarwood and sandalwood.
At the base Haitan vetiver and patchouli mix with a blend of woods.
The masculine bottle features a light brown tint, said to reflect a forest mist, while the cap features a wooden finish to echo the key ingredients.
The fragrances are available now.
