Italian high-end retailer Salvatore Ferragamo introduces Amo fragrance

Amo Ferragamo, the new fragrance from shoe designer Salvatore Ferragamo, has launched exclusively at The Fragrance Shop.

The fragrance (from £45) opens with top notes of Italian bitter, blackcurrant and rosemary, with heart notes of jasmine sambas, mate absolute and rhubarb, and finished with dry down tones of white vanilla tahitensis absolute, ambrox and sandalwood.

Amo Ferragamo’s packaging replicates traditional Italian perfume bottles with its textured lines and is finished with a metallic rose and silver polish.

The concept of the new fragrance is a celebration of modern femininity, specifically marketed at young women.

To coincide with the new fragrance, the brand has named British model and actress Suki Waterhouse as its muse.

Meanwhile, German director Ellen von Unwerth, who specialises in intimate female camerawork, was the official photographer for the campaign.

The fragrance will roll-out nationwide from 9 April.
