The British actor is named as the newest ambassador for Burberry's new EDP London-inspired campaign

Burberry has announced British actor Josh Whitehouse will front its new Mr. Burberry edp campaign.

A collaboration between Christopher Bailey, Burberry’s Chief Creative and Chief Executive Officer, and perfumer Francis Kurkdjian, the scent has been inspired by the ‘anticipation of London at night’ and is described as warm, sensual and woody.

Whitehouse is most notable for his role in Northern House but has been a part of the Burberry family since 2016, along with actors Eddy Redmayne and Hugh Dancy.

Customers will be able to personalise a 100ml or 150ml Mr. Burberry edp bottle with up to three initials via selected stores and the Burberry website.

The bottle is a homage to the black Heritage Trench Coat and its signature design details.

Bailey said: "Mr. Burberry is our most significant men’s fragrance to date. Inspired by the iconic Burberry trench coat and by London, a city of great contrasts and contradictions.

"It is traditional yet irreverent, elegant without being pristine. It perfectly encapsulates a mood and an attitude that today’s Burberry man will recognise as his own."
