What does your role entail?

Our company is unique in many ways. We do not own brands or create them – we build brands for our principal companies in the UK and Irish markets. Our responsibility is to develop fragrance labels and to take good and professional care of them. As the Founder of the company, my role is to identify opportunities and to help craft the developing future of the company.

How did you get to where you are today?

People power – it’s simple! I had a lucky start in the perfume business with a great mentor who guided me through the many stages of business strategy. I learned quickly how to help inspire others to build a team, welding the many skills into one direction.

Learning to lead is a matter of making sure that skill is recognised, which enables many objectives to be realised. It is a real privilege to employ great people who are empowered and to know they have real value.

What do you love most about being Chairman of KGA?

We are a professional and friendly family business and our priceless ingredient is people. People motivate me to run the business every day, they make me smile and I admire their skills. For me and for our company, business is pleasure. It’s my hobby.

Can you tell us about your plans for 2017?
