Kevyn Aucoin poaches ex-Make Up For Ever’s creative artist Nick Lujan as Director

The former Make Up For Ever boss brings 14 years industry experience to the role

The eponymous beauty brand of the late make-up artist Kevyn Aucoin has hired Nick Lujan as its Global Director of Artistry and Education.

Lujan spent more than eight years with professional beauty brand Make Up For Ever in a number of managerial roles, including Pro & Media Educator.

In total he has spent 14 years in the industry as an educator and make-up artist.

As part of his new role, Lujan will be responsible for creating, writing and facilitating programmes for developing client services and artistic skills.

He will also work in the brand’s public relations and creative teams as a consultant, help develop content and collaborate on product development.

Lujan said after his first meeting with the team that he knew it would be “the perfect fit” for him.

“When I reviewed the role and all that it encompasses, it was like it was created just for me,” he said.

“After 14 years in the industry, Kevyn is the brand where I can activate all my skill sets as an artist, educator and creative.”
