US-based cosmetics brand Kiehl’s has released its first-ever firming mask.
The Ginger Leaf & Hibiscus Firming Mask (US$54) is formulated from sustainably-sourced extracts and has been designed for all skin types.
Extracts from the hibiscus flower are said to contain a high level of protein which can improve the appearance of dull and tired skin.
Meanwhile, the product also benefits female farmers from How Binh, Vietnam, where the ginger leaf is sourced from.
Kiehl’s provides the 14 women who collect the ginger leaves with education and new tools for safer, more efficient farming.
The brand recommends to use the product five times a week by massaging onto clean skin with an upward motion and leave on overnight.
