Helped by the growing popularity of K-Pop – Korean pop music – in China, South Korea’s cosmetics companies are finding that their brands are becoming increasingly popular. Many young Chinese women desire skin like the young Korean women who sing and dance in K-Pop performances.

Recently, four of China’s airlines, Air China, China Southern Airlines, China Eastern Airlines and Hainan Airlines, started selling brands from Seoul’s Charmzone Cosmetics in-flight. Charmzone said the deal would greatly expand the brand’s visibility and strengthen its presence in China.
