Kylie Jenner responds to grading from Better Business Bureau

Kylie Jenner has hit back at critics after her cosmetics business was graded “F” by the Better Business Bureau in the US.

The Better Business Bureau sets criteria for ethical business practices and grades companies based on their level of compliance. The organisation graded the Kylie Cosmetics company its lowest rating after 133 complaints were filed against it.

Complaints against Kylie Cosmetics included 69 reports of delivery issues, 55 product concerns and 9 problems with advertising, billing or sales. The Better Business Bureau said: “Currently the BBB is receiving multiple complaints from this company’s customers claiming that after ordering and paying for products, some or all of the products are not being shipped as expected.”

Jenner posted a response to the grading on the Kylie Cosmetics Instagram page. She said that she had been in touch with the Bureau about the rating: “I’ve sold millions of lip kits and any complaint we’ve received to date has been addressed in a timely manner. I’m sick and tired of people coming for my business.” She also apologised to those who had complained.

The Better Business Bureau has since adjusted the rating for Kylie Cosmetics to a “C”, stating that it was unaware of the volume of the business, which makes the number of complaints smaller in proportion.
