L’Oréal Travel Retail has unveiled a new beauty concept at the LaGuardia Airport in New York, US.

Dubbed the Beauty Hub and located in Terminal B, L’Oréal has hand-picked products from its premium brands Lancôme, Armani, Yves Saint Laurent and Valentino, as well as Gen Z-focused brands IT Cosmetics and Urban Decay.

Shoppers will also be able to purchase colour cosmetics from L’Oréal Paris and Maybelline New York.

“This breakthrough and disruptive retail concept aims at providing the American frequent-traveler with truly memorable and convenient experiences,” said Managing Director of L’Oréal Travel Retail Americas, Yannick Raynaud.

Throughout the space the French beauty giant has integrated a range of digital features, including ModiFace’s AI-powered virtual experience.

This will allow visitors to virtually try-on make-up products and receive a personalised skin diagnosis.

“Only L’Orèal Beauty Tech capabilities and experience, and its unique and rich portfolio of brands could welcome all the diversity of travelers going through LaGuardia,” added Raynaud.

Meanwhile, the CEO of LaGuardia Gateway Partners, the manager and developer of Terminal B, Stewart Steeves, said he was delighted by the new shopping destination.

“This newest offering, located in The Bowery Bay Shops, will provide passengers with the opportunity to shop some of the world’s most famous beauty brands,” he said.

“The Beauty Hub, New York, is a fantastic addition to the new Terminal B, combining a best-in-class shopping experience with convenience for busy travellers.
