L'Oréal's Dermacenter concept proves "very promising"

L'Oréal has plans to roll out further Dermacenter stores this year and next

L’Oréal’s travel retail division has revealed plans to expand its Dermacenter concept in Asia, the Americas and Europe later this year and in 2016.

The company said that first results of its Dermacenter stores have been “very promising”. The stores stock L’Oréal’s dermocosmetic brands including Aquaria Thermal, LiftActiv, Vichy, Tolériane, Effaclar and La Roche-Posay, among others, and provide personalised skin care diagnostic services.

Over the past year, L’Oréal has been rolling out Dermacenter stores in strategic locations, with a focus on Asia. The first Dermacenter opened in DFST Galleria Chinachem in Hong Kong in November 2014; the unveiling also market the travel retail debut of Vichy and La Roche-Posay.

Following this, other Dermacenters opened in Haitang Bay, Iguazu Downton, Bangkok Downtown 1&2, Hong Kong-Hysan, Seoul Lotte. Most recently, two 18sqm Dermacenter counters have opened at Oslo Airport in the main departures area and the Travel Value Shop.
