LR Health & Beauty, the direct sales company, has begun construction of its new aloe vera production site in Porschestrasse in Germany.
A cornerstone ceremony was held on 7 April, attended by representatives of the City of Ahlen.
Dr Thomas Stoffmehl, CEO LR Health & Beauty, said: “I am very pleased that the construction works start now. The new production site is part of our sustainable growth strategy. In this way, we are reinforcing our claim 'Made in Germany' with the highest quality standard and take account of the increasing demand of our aloe vera products."
Aloe vera products form a core part of the company’s Health & Beauty offering, with an annual harvest of 12,000 tonnes of aloe vera leaves making it one of the world’s largest manufacturers of aloe vera products. LR manufactures and markets more than 600 health and beauty products in 28 countries.
