You will have a chemistry degree and/or a cosmetics diploma have gained either a placement year or 1-2 years experience within a lab/production/manufacturing environment and combine this with confidence, enthusiasm and a will to take on extra responsibility, growing and developing yourself at pace.
Understanding the product development and production process you will write and improve best working processes. Manage daily production schedules, hands on so involving lifting and manual work, and maintaining stock and material levels to ensure the production schedule can deliver to demand forecasts.
You will need the passion and resilience to learn and develop as there will be “lots of new” happening which will result in your personal development at pace too and this team and function will continue to grow so you will take more of a higher level lead role and recruit and develop this team as a true manager.
