Iran appears to have taken one step closer towards a future of trading more freely with cosmetics companies worldwide.

Following a unanimous vote by the UN Security Council and the approval of the EU’s own Iran nuclear deal, certain sanctions that have been crippling Iran’s economy for years look set to be lifted (the US Congress is still in the process of reviewing its agreement).

The agreement is based on the premise that in return for the lifting of certain sanctions, such as a ban on the trade of certain goods, the Islamic republic will not develop nuclear weapons; the UN deal has been almost two years in the making.
