Online beauty retailer Lookfantastic has blamed an advertising blunder on one of its junior copywriters.

The e-tailer was reported to the ASA for three listings back in February.

It claimed customers would receive a free Elemis Reviving Kit for spending £80, another said shoppers would receive a Bumble and Bumble Go Big Treatment when buying £30 of products and a free Pret a Powder Tres Invisible 25ml for spending £15.

However, the complainant, who placed orders exceeding the minimum amount did not receive the complimentary items.
