Cosmetics brand Barry M has recruited its first celebrity ambassador. Previous The Only Way is Essex star and fitness spokesperson Lucy Mecklenburgh has been named “Face of Barry M 2016”. She will appear in ads for all the brand's launches throughout the coming year.
In a statement, Barry M said: “Known for her fun, energy and love of experimenting with make-up, Lucy is a true Barry M girl. As a brand, we pride ourselves on our strong British heritage, so it was important to find a ‘True Brit’ to represent us. With her gorgeous looks and down to earth, girl-next-door personality, Lucy is perfect!”
Mecklenbugh added: “I’ve grown up with Barry M and I’m so excited to be the face of such a colourful, fun cosmetics brand. I can’t wait to share what’s in store for 2016!”
Since leaving the cast of The Only Way is Essex in 2013, Mecklenbugh has found success in personal training, launching her exercise and nutrition business, Results with Lucy. She also works with tanning and bronzing brand Sunkissed as an ambassador.
