Luscious lashes from Albéa

Albéa launched four new fibre brushes for its My Style collection

Albéa has launched a new collection of fibre brushes, My Style, as part of its product development programme. Each brush has its own name and purpose: Mademoiselle, designed for extra volume and length; Miss, which offers extra curl and length; Lolita, for volume and definition; and Signorina, designed to create extra volume.

It is Albéa's second-generation Da Vinci technology that makes the sculpted contours of the brushes possible, by combining a second brush cut followed by an overtwist. “Cuts can now be done differently on either side of the brush, for new shape and make-up effect possibilities,” said Pauline Uhlen, Mascara Product Manager at Albéa.

It is not only Albéa's fibre brushes that are a hot topic, however, as France-based make-up brand Bourjois chose Albéa's plastic Dolce Vita mascara brush for its latest product, Beauty'Full Volume Dark Khôl. The doubly curved hourglass shape of the brush allows for increased lash volume and curl, and the numerous staggered row of bristles push the lashes up and offer a clump-free result. The top bristles define and comb the lashes, especially at the corners of the eye, which makes for a high-definition look.
