Lush joins Vivienne Westwood’s Climate Revolution

Will encourage consumers to petition for sustainability

Lush Fresh Handmade Cosmetics and Vivienne Westwood have teamed up to promote Climate Revolution, a movement created by the British fashion designer to pioneer a more sustainable world. Launched yesterday, the initiative involves 104 Lush stores across the UK and Ireland and invites customers to sign up to protect the environment and to petition, act and protest for a sustainable future.

“This is the week when every shop in every shopping centre across the world is screaming sales. We have chosen to propel Vivienne Westwood’s initiative – Climate Revolution – into the high street instead,” said Mo Constantine, co-founder of Lush. “It might seem strange that the Climate Revolution is being called for by members of the beauty and fashion industry. But Vivienne is right when she says we must begin today, because tomorrow is too late. Both Lush and Westwood have always had invention at heart and a certain disregard for the rules. We’re proud to make Climate Revolution our new year’s resolution.”
