British cosmetics brand Lush has opened its biggest-ever store in France, in the Part-Dieu shopping centre in Lyon.
The new store, which measures 118sqm, is situated next door to the former store, which measured only 27sqm.
"We relocated because the former store was too small for its turnover,” Mathieu Raguet, the company’s Head of Store Ppenings for Europe, told Cosmetics Business.
“The Part-Dieu is the second-busiest mall in France, with 33 million visitors per year."
The shop is decorated in the new Lush look of a ‘delicatessen’, with polished concrete floors, white-tiled and wooden walls, chalkboard-style labelling and reclaimed wooden units showing off the brand’s highly coloured goods, such as bath bombs and soaps that can be cut from the block.
In the centre, an ice-filled unit holds fresh face masks, along with testers, and sinks are available for customers to try out the products and remove makeup or wash their hands.
