Luxe Pack New York has long been a focal point for US based beauty brands looking to liaise with packaging suppliers from across the globe. While its Monaco based sister show remains both bigger and better established, Luxe Pack New York is becoming more of a destination in its own right. The 12th edition ran from 14-15 May 2014 in a new, larger venue at Pier 92 in Midtown Manhattan. “It’s not so much bigger, but it is brighter and it’s more uniform, you don't have three different spaces to navigate,” enthused Idice’s Nathalie Grosdidier, General Manager of Luxe Pack New York.

Naturally, the more spacious venue enabled the inclusion of a greater number of exhibiting companies. “We remain selective, but we’ve added some more companies – and we have more typically American companies, specialising in cardboard or decoration etc,” said Grosdidier. There were 194 exhibitors at the 2014 show, compared to 165 in 2013.
