Luxury retailer De Bijenkorf unveils personal beauty stylist service

The department store chain has rolled out the service in time for the festive season

High end retailer De Bijenkorf has launched a new personal beauty stylist service at its Amsterdam and Rotterdam stores in the Netherlands.

The department store chain, owned by the same company behind Selfridges, launched the service in time for the festive season, along with a beauty advent calendar.

The brand neutral personal beauty stylists will help consumers find skin and hair care products and make-up to suit their needs during one hour appointments that cost €10 and can be booked online.

Eefje Luuring, Buying Manager Beauty de Bijenkorf, said: “We think it is important that our customers receive the best service.

“The personal beauty stylist has knowledge of all brands and ensures that every customer receives customised advice.

“And our beauty advent calendar with bestsellers from many brands is the perfect gift to give and to receive during the festive season.”

De Bijenkorf stocks a range of beauty brands including newly-listed brands Hourglass and Gucci beauty.

The retailer’s advent calendar costs €119 for 24 products, which have a total worth of €275 and includes products from Pixi, NARS, Laura Mercier, MAC and Ouai, among others.
