MAC Cosmetics reveals colour line inspired by Disney’s Maleficent

The new range equips customers with the tools to recreate the film’s signature villain look

MAC Cosmetics is no stranger to a Disney-inspired collection and its latest line is endorsing one of the franchises best known villains, Maleficent.

Ahead of the film’s sequel release, the brand has introduced a mascara, faux eyelash set, lipstick, lip gloss, blush and two eyeshadows (from £12.50).

To accompany the line, MAC has recommended customers use its Studio Fix Sculpt and Shape Contour Palette, Studio Fix Fluid foundation, lip pencils in Vino and Cherry, Pro Longwear Fluidline in Blacktrack and Pro Longwear Concealer.

“Maleficent is one the most iconic Disney villains of all time,” said MAC’s Senior Manager Makeup Artistry Regan Rabanal.

“People love the fact that she’s really just a good girl gone bad, a ferocious, refined fairy.

“What I love about my Maleficent-inspired look is that I really used the eye make-up look to communicate her characteristics.

“Really go for the deep-set crease she has and add a soaring arch to your eyebrow.”
