The US TV personality will work with the Estée Lauder brand on a May launch

Much to the delight of Caitlyn Jenner fans, the 65-year-old TV personality (born Bruce Jenner) is due to launch a collaborative campaign with MAC, in the latest of the brand’s celebrity endorsed lines.

Rumours started spreading that a MAC Caitlyn Jenner collection might be in the works as far back as last June. At the time, however, MAC shut down speculation and stated: “MAC cosmetics is a brand that embraces all ages, all races and all sexes, and is a longstanding supporter of the LGBT community. We are inspired by Caitlyn Jenner, her personal journey and we admire her courage and beauty. We have not signed Caitlyn as a spokesperson for MAC.”

But now the Estée Lauder brand has pleased fans by revealing that Jenner is to become the next celebrity face of the brand and a MAC Caitlyn Jenner line will launch exclusively online from 12 May. The launch will kick off with the debut of Jenner’s Finally Free lipstick available from 7 April; 100% of the sales of Finally Free will go towards the MAC Aids Fund Transgender Initiative.

In an interview with MAC, Jenner said: “My ultimate fantasy – I never thought in a million years that it would ever happen — was to get involved with a make-up company. When you’re going through all of this, that’s just like never going to happen, but wouldn’t it be something to be involved in a project like that? Boy, watch out what you wish for, because it came true.”

She explained: “At first it was sort of like a “rumour” that M•A•C was interested in doing something. And I thought, “Well, that’s a good rumour!” And then, finally, we had our first meeting. I was so excited to be there.”
