Premium skin care brand Mádara has introduced its debut peptide skin care line, fuelled by ‘advanced’ bioactive ingredients.

The new Derma Collagen range is based on a combination of naturally-derived peptides, hyaluronic acid, microalgae and other molecules to stimulate the skin.

Specifically, the formula contains sodium hyaluronate to moisturise the skin; Hexapeptide-11 to help bind the cell surface receptors and stimulate activity; and alteromonas ferment extract, derived from phytoplankton. This active ingredient stimulates collagen type 1 (found in the skin) and elastin synthesis.

These blends are said to improve skin’s key qualities, such as texture and plumpness.

First in the range is Mádara’s Derma Collagen serum (£42), which is designed to firm the skin and promote collagen synthesis for a smoother and plumper looking dermis.

Meanwhile, the Derma Collagen Cream (£39) hydrates and smoothes the skin to leave it feeling soft and supple.

The cream also helps to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and firm skin.

“This is a very exciting launch,” said Mádara founder and Creative Director Lotte Tisenkopfa-Iltnere.

“The new range is formulated with natural, biotechnologically-derived deep action peptides, so now we can offer our clients a clean, organic and 100% vegan alternative to synthetic peptide products.”

Tisenkopfa-Iltnere also noted that the products are aimed at consumers aged 30 and over.

The products are available to shop via feelunique.com and beautyexpert.com.
