Marico buys Singapore’s Derma

Indian group invests in Singapore business


Indian producer of personal care products Marico Ltd has acquired the beauty care business of Derma Rx Asia Pacific Pte Ltd based in Singapore. The acquisition was organised via its local Kaya unit and the deal is expected to increase Kaya's share of group revenue from 13% to over 20%.

The amount paid for Derma has not been disclosed.
