Backed by sports brands JD Sports and Adidas, the space offers free beauty treatments to visitors ahead of the party season

Beauty brand owner and TV personality Maya Jama is entering the beauty services space with her debut salon.

Brought to customers for one day only on 8 December, the Mortimer Street, London, pop-up, named Jama & Drys, is being backed by JD Sports and Adidas, with Jama on hand to offer visitors beauty tips.

For the fleeting visit, Jama is offering a menu of complimentary beauty treatments, from gel manicures to Lashify extension treatments to gear customers up for the Christmas party season.

“Anyone that knows me will tell you I am an absolute beauty addict. I love glam, I love glitter and I obviously really love Christmas, so I can’t wait to bring some sparkle to my fans at Jama & Drys,” said the presenter.

“It’s been very exciting getting the salon ready, and I can’t wait to open the doors and meet everyone on Wednesday 8 December.

“A big thanks to my day ones at Adidas and JD Sports for making this happen.”

Customers can secure a treatment via the JD Sports website, jdsports.co.uk, and the space will be open between 10am and 7pm.

Jama first made her appearance on the beauty scene in 2019 with an Aussie hair care beauty deal, before going on to create her mask brand MIJ Masks in 2020.

Attracting a younger demographic, the brand offers a selection of bio-cellulose masks, as well as a range of newly-launched beauty tools, that are designed for every occasion.

“MIJ Masks are for every face and any moment,” Jama said via her website.

“Whether I’m heading to a shoot, slouching on a plane or prepping for a night with my huns, you’ll find me treating my skin to some well-deserved TLC.”
