Global market is mandatory for cosmetic industries, from Majors to little companies who want to address the needs of their customers wherever in the world. In Asian countries humidity could reach 74% with a temperature above 30°C – 86°F, whereas in western countries the mean temperature is rather 20°C – 68°F with humidity at 25%. The possibility to assess the effectiveness of cosmetic products in different temperature and humidity conditions, including ‘extreme weather conditions’, and with standardised parameters is therefore of great interest for cosmetic companies. IDEA Clinic, specialised in clinical testing, has recently launched a new evaluation room dedicated to ‘extreme weather conditions’.
Highly customisable humidity and temperature control features allow the cosmetic companies to evaluate the effectiveness of their formulas under specific weather conditions (i.e. Asia climate) and with standardised conditions for all the volunteers at the same time.

Pascal Yvon, PharmD, MBA
Dr. Yvon has over 25 years of global experience in the Life Sciences industries, including the cosmetic, biotech, pharmaceutical, diagnostic sectors. He has worked with both startups and large companies, with a breadth of leadership positions in sales, marketing, business development, project management and general management. Dr. Yvon began his career in France, where he gained transatlantic experience working with businesses in Europe, Japan and the US. In the past 15 years, he has been based in the US, helping life sciences companies introduce and develop their business in the US by providing comprehensive services and solutions from strategic planning to operational development and execution. Today, as US Business Development Head for IDEA TESTS Group, a cosmetic testing company, he is leading the development of its services and business expansion in the US.
Dr. Yvon has authored a number of trade journal articles and speaks at leading industry events and conferences.
Dr. Yvon holds a Doctorate in Pharmacy from the Pharmacy University, Paris, and an Executive MBA from Rutgers University, NJ. He is a member of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists, NY Chapter.
