Releases corporate sustainability report for 2010


The combined businesses Momentive Performance Materials Inc and Momentive Specialty Chemicals Inc have published their 2010 corporate sustainability report. Titled The Science Behind a Sustainable Future, the report covers the collaborative initiatives of the combined Momentive enterprise regarding environmental protection, economic development and social responsibility.

The report, available at www.momentive.com, broadens and updates three key areas: environmental health and safety, products that support sustainable solutions and CSR.

“Sustainability has been a focus in the heritage of our company for many years, as we have strived to operate safely and efficiently, minimise environmental impact, introduce innovation using sustainable resources, reduce waste and be a good employer and a good neighbour,” commented Craig Morrison, Momentive’s chairman and ceo. “We are taking a lead role in creating the science behind sustainable solutions.”
