Monoprix has opened its new flagship store in Paris’s Avenue des Champs Elysées, with 2,000m2 of floor space selling fashion, beauty and household items.
The beauty section is designed in the store’s new Drug Store concept, which it unveiled in April, while the interior of the shop features bar chairs by Drucker, huge chandeliers and touches of vegetation.
The new Monoprix concept is meant to evoke a boutique, with pride of place given to expensive materials such as oak, marble, brass and terrazzo, while the entrance is meant to read more like a hotel than a store.
