NataPres receives Ecocert approval

Product meets demand for natural preservation system


Univar and Professional Compounding Centers of America (PCCA) have announced today that PCCA’s NataPres has received the Ecocert approval.

NataPres is a natural, odour-free ingredient that provides preservation properties in the creation of personal care products. The raw material it contains is derived from renewable resources, while the product is manufactured through eco-friendly processes.

Gus Bassani, PCCA vice president of Consulting, R&D and Formulations, said: “Strong demand continues for a natural preservation system in the marketplace. As many marketers continue to assert paraben-free and preservative-free claims, this certification creates a standard and allows for greater transparency. Univar’s personal care team has the technical expertise, global presence, and strong customer formulation support necessary to effectively deliver this sought-after product worldwide.”
