The brand’s new powder booster is said to protect skin from environmental stressors and even skin tone

Skin care brand Naya has launched its answer to help brighten and repair skin with a new powder booster.

The Antioxidant Defence Booster (£45) is said to be infused with antioxidants to protect the skin from free radicals and environmental damage.

The formula uses desert algae and schisandra extract along with vitamin C and niacinamide to reveal an even skin tone and brighter complexion, claims the brand.

Naya has also entered a new partnership with Climate Partner, exclusively for the launch, which will enable the brand to develop products in a climate-neutral way and reduce carbon emissions.

As part of the collaboration, the brand will support carbon offset projects according to international standards and in line with the Sustainable Development Goals set by the UN.

“As a business, we are committed to reducing our CO2 footprint,” said Naya’s founder Sarah Zimmer.

“As it stands, we currently have to source our ingredients thousands of miles away from manufacturing facilities.

“With this in mind, we aim to lower our ecological footprint by calculating the carbon emissions from the Antioxidant Defence Booster while giving back to specific projects in partnership with Climate Partner.”

To use the new booster, consumers should mix 0.05g of the booster with the supplied spoon with two to four drops of serum and apply to face, neck and décolletage at night.

The serum is said to be suitable for all skin types and is available at nayaglow.com.
