Neal’s Yard adopts sustainable packaging from Curtis

Adhering to the eco-friendly mantra renew, recycle, reuse, Neal’s Yard Remedies has become the first brand to take advantage of Curtis Print and Packaging’s recently launched The Inside Out Box. Made from FSC carton board, vegetable inks and water-based varnishes, the box is an on-shelf product pack designed to unfold and reverse for use as a gift or trinket box, to increase its longevity.

“Our designers have come up with a simple yet ingenious construction so there’s no glue and the pack pops easily apart whilst still providing the protection the product needs,” comments Steve Mallett, Curtis’ sales director. “Ultimately, when no longer needed, the box is fully recyclable.”

Neal’s Yard Remedies’ packaging technologist Johanna Everett adds: “This carton perfectly encapsulates our philosophy that beauty should be a synergy between inside and out and satisfies our quest for combining the wow factor with our deeply rooted pursuit for minimal environmental impact.”
