Neom Organics appoints L’Occitane’s former MD as Chairman

British beauty brand Neom Organics has appointed L’Occitane’s former Managing Director, Emmanuel Osti, as Chairman.

Neom Organics was founded in 2005 by friends Nicola Elliott and Oliver Mennell, and today its retail sales value is £25m, according to the brand.

Osti began his career as Product Manager for L’Oréal and has held a number of roles with beauty giant LVMH before moving to Johnson & Johnson as its General Manager (France) for Neutrogena and RoC.

Based in Milan, Osti currently sits on the board of Gotha Cosmetics and food start-up Le Cesarine.

Commenting on his new position, he said: “I am delighted to be joining Nicola, Oliver and the team at Neom.

“I have followed the brand’s journey with great interest and admiration and very much look forward to helping it develop further, bringing its unique and natural wellbeing products to even more customers.”

CEO and co-founder Mennell added: “I’m really looking forward to working with Emmanuel on the next phase of our growth.”

Today, Neom is based in Harrogate and employs nearly 100 staff.
