Vantage Specialty Chemicals is pleased to announce the promotion of Mike Lotito to North America Sales Director of Lipo Chemicals, the personal care unit of Vantage Specialty Chemicals.
With a broad background in the chemical industry, Mr. Lotito offers a wealth of knowledge and experience. Mr. Lotito joined Ruger Chemical, the pharmaceutical unit of Vantage Specialty Chemicals, in 2007 and immediately achieved success. Mr. Lotito took the lead commercial role in Ruger and has been able to demonstrate a notable improvement in profitability and product focus within a very short time period.
Before joining Ruger, he worked in various management positions for major Personal Care ingredient companies such as Lonza, Rhodia and Croda. Mr. Lotito has proven to be an effective sales manager and excellent coach and mentor throughout his career.
The domestic sales team covering the Personal Care and Pharmaceutical segments now report to Mr. Lotito. He will continue to lead the pharmaceutical commercial efforts while we analyze next steps for transitioning day-to-day management responsibility.
