New Zealand has a wealth of natural ingredients including manuka honey, totarol – a natural preservative – and harakeke – a native flax claimed to be more hydrating than aloe vera. The surge of natural and organic companies in New Zealand is no surprise, with some brands becoming popular abroad. Trilogy, Living Nature and Comvita are just an example of New Zealand natural companies that are doing well worldwide.

When one thinks of New Zealand’s C&T industry, natural companies like Trilogy, Living Nature and Comvita spring instantly to mind. Today many more local manufacturers are harnessing the powerful natural ingredients that the country offers, as Nadia Di Martino reports

At the end of November 2011 the OECD, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, said it expects New Zealand’s economy to accelerate over the next two years, with reconstruction for the terrible earthquake that hit Christchurch last February meeting set deadlines and contributing to the country’s future well-being.
