MEMI, an ethical make-up brand has launched on the UK market.

Pronounced ‘me-my’ and short for ‘me, myself and I’, the brand was launched by two 21-year-old entrepreneurs Jack Thompson and Millie Watson.

The brand’s ethos is to provide quality, luxury and stylish products at affordable prices.

Watson said: “MEMI is all about challenging the conventional idea that people have to pay a premium for a quality product.

“It’s an outdated concept which no longer appeals to the digital generation, who are looking for a much more transparent relationship with the brands they choose to engage with.”

The duo spent two years travelling the world to source the formulas for their collection; this included seven trips across southern China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, and to countries across Europe.

Thompson added: “We set out to ensure our customers benefit from a luxury user experience at every touchpoint — from the exceptional performance of our products, to the sleek lines and quality aesthetic of our packaging and minimalist modern branding — but all at budget friendly prices.”

The 14-piece make-up range includes lipsticks, blushers, eyeshadows and brushes with prices starting from £10.

Two skin care products will also be debuting with the make-up collection, Perfecting Radiance Primer and Miracle Moisturiser.

The products are cruelty-free and suitable for vegans, apart from the Miracle Moisturiser, and Define and Shape Contour Duo, which contain beeswax.
