New name for Safic-Alcan UK’s chemical division

The UK subsidiary of French company Safic-Alcan has announced it will rename its chemical division in line with the rest of the group. Safic-Alcan UK’s chemical division will now be known as Life Science, which the company says better reflects its role as a supplier of speciality raw materials for the personal care, pharmaceutical and nutrition industries.

In addition, the company has added extra data to its website to indicate which materials have organic certification or approval. The data is designed to enable formulators to find information quickly and easily.
