The US retail chain will welcome Murdock London barbers in-store for special appearances

Nordstrom has opened its first standalone men’s store, alongside its new flagship in New York City at 235 West 57th Street.

The men’s store features a number of new fashion and beauty concepts, with personalisation experiences taking centre stage.

Le Labo is offering personalised fragrance labels in the grooming department, while barber-led Murdock London is set to make its US debut and will send barbers on-site for special appearances.

Other male grooming brands and services include Tom Ford Grooming, Kiehl’s, Proraso and Ted’s Grooming Room by Ted Baker London.

The fragrance offering includes premium and niche brands such as Chanel, Prada, Dior, By Killian and Parfums de Marly.

The men’s store features an all-glass exterior in order to connect the shopping experience to the city, Nordstrom noted.

Product discovery forms an integral part of the strategy for the new store, with an open and flexible floor plan that allows for change regarding product display.
