Nourish London has entered a partnership with Indian company Freeset to take women out of the sex trade.

Freeset was founded 20 years ago in Kolkata, India, to give women working in the sex trade altnerative employment.

As part of the collaboration, Nourish has commissioned Freeset employees to create a range of toiletry bags, made from locally sourced fibres, to sell as part of its gifting range.

Freeset employees are offered jobs above minimum wage with paid leave, pension contribution and sick leave.

“We are delighted to be working with Freeset and contributing to supporting the great work they do,” said Nourish London’s founder Pauline Hili.

“The bags are beautifully made and sustainably sourced so make wonderful companions to our products.”

The gift sets include the Antioxidant Duo Gift Set, featuring Nourish’s Antioxidant Multi-Tasking Super Balm and Antioxidant Peptide Mist, and Relaxing Retreat Gift Set comprising the brand’s Multi-Mineral Repair Mask, Relaxing Hydrating Peptide Serum and Sleepy Pillow Mist (from £15).

Completing the range is Nourish’s Perfect Glow Gift Set (£59), which includes the Antioxidant Multi-Tasking Super Balm, Radiance Firming Facial Oil, Argan Skin Renew Moisturiser and Rose Quartz Gua Sha.

Janet Roger UK Brand Ambassador for Freeset added: “It’s orders from brands like Nourish London which provide ongoing fairly paid work for the team and enable them to provide for themselves and their families.

“Knowing they are appreciated and valued as well as the lovely products the women create also helps build a flourishing and vibrant global community.”
