The P&G-owned male grooming brand's Clean Waters deodorant comes in an all-paper push-up stick with 90% post consumer recycled materials

Old Spice is the latest brand to get behind the beauty industry's ongoing war on plastic packaging with the launch of its debut plastic-free deodorant.

Made from 90% post consumer recycled materials, the all-paper push-up deodorant stick is said be the P&G-owned male grooming staple's most environmentally friendly product to date.

The new deodorant features the brand's Clean Waters scent, made with minerals and plant-based materials as well as a blend of sea salt and cedar notes.

Evangleos Touras, Senior Director Europe at Old Spice, commented: “The Clean Waters stick is designed for men who are interested in cutting back on plastic waste, but still want to smell 'mantastic'.

“Men have high expectations for environmentally friendly products and we are excited to launch this in partnership with Boots, making sustainable choices accessible for more.”

The product is available now online exclusively at boots.com.
