One Direction debuts Our Moment fragrance

UK boy band One Direction has unveiled its debut fragrance, named Our Moment. The scent will go on sale exclusively for two weeks in London’s upscale department store Harrods from 25 August, followed by a wider roll out from 9 September.

The fragrance, said to have taken a year to develop, was created in partnership with Firmenich. The result is a “vibrant and playful fruity floral” which is said to capture the essence of the brand. “Fragrances are such an important part of any girls beauty regime that the band immersed themselves in the entire creative process to ensure the final product was of the highest quality and truly reflective of both them and their fans,” said Faye Langworthy, fragrance Licence Manager for Modest!, the company behind for the band’s management.

The fragrance opens on pink grapefruit, wild berries and redcurrants, with mid notes of jasmine petals, freesia and frangipani, and a dry down of creamy musk, sheer woods and white patchouli. It will be priced from £21, and accompanied by an ancillary line of products including body lotion and shower gel.
