Success for 66°30 for second year running

Organics proved the main theme of this year’s Beauty Challenger Awards – held 13 September as part of the Cosmeeting Beyond Beauty Paris exhibition – with six of the seven accolades going to organic brands.

The Beauty Organic Award was won by Didier Arthaud for his 66°30 brand for men, which triumphed in the emerging brand category back in 2009 while the Beauty Pharma Award went to fruit-inspired organic brand Pomarium. Pomarium was also recognised in the Beauty Blog Favourite category. The prize for the Best Emerging Brand was awarded to Canadian food supplement brand Functionlab while Best Niche Brand went to Myeko developed by Lio, an organic treatment collection from Portugal.

Organic make-up brand Studio 78 Paris won the Media Favourite prize while The Jury’s Favourite prize was awarded to Pulpe de Vie, an organic brand created by Julie Ducret and described as “overflowing with good humour”.
