The UK’s largest ‘on demand’ beauty services provider, blow LTD. has reported that 47% of its appointments are now outside of normal salon hours.
The rise in 24-hour beauty has seen growing demand for services before 9am and after 7pm, and on Sundays.
blow LTD., which offers blow dries, make-up looks, massages, manicures and lash extensions at home and in beauty bars at selected Debenhams stores, says its beauty bar at Debenhams Oxford Street in London is taking bookings from 7am – two and a half hours before the store opens.
“Women are increasingly juggling careers and family lives, which means that finding the time to get a blow dry, manicure or massage is difficult,” said Fiona McIntosh, co-founder of blow LTD.
"Beauty treatments are now a 24-hour activity for women that fit around their busy lives, whether it's a 7am blow dry at our beauty bar in Debenhams Oxford Street or a manicure at home at the weekend."
