PPR shows Q4 growth of 11.2%

PPR group revenue grew by over 11% in 2011


French group PPR has reported an 11.2% rise in revenue for the last three months of 2011, up 7.7% on the same period in 2010. Consolidated revenue for the whole year was also up, showing an increase of 11.1% on the previous year.

Growth was led by the group’s Luxury and Sport & Lifestyle divisions whose revenue grew 25.2%, led by sales in the Asia-Pacific region (excluding Japan).

More specifically, reported revenue in the luxury division, whose portfolio includes brands such as Gucci, Stella McCartney and Yves St Laurent, rose by 22.6% for the full year 2011 and by 22.1% for Q4.
