P&G Q3 results fall flat despite strong growth from skin and personal care categories

US personal care giant Procter & Gamble has reported flat third quarter fiscal year 2019 net sales of $16.5bn, an increase of just 1% on the previous year.

Excluding the impacts of foreign exchange, acquisitions and divestitures, organic sales increased 5%.

“We delivered another quarter of strong organic sales growth, enabling us to further increase our outlook for the year,” said David Taylor, Chairman, President and CEO.
