Parlux revenue slumps in Q4

Fragrance company is hit by expiration of Guess license


Parlux Fragrances Inc was negatively impacted by the expiration of its license with Guess Inc in the fourth quarter ended 31 March 2010. The company reported a 37% dip in revenue from $28.2m in the same period of the previous year to $17.7m.

Parlux also said it had been adversely affected by anaemic consumer spending and by higher post-holiday returns.
