Pat McGrath Labs, the eponymous beauty brand from British make-up artist Pat McGrath, has expanded its US presence with a new retail deal.

The colour cosmetics brand has now opened a dedicated concession in luxury department store chain Bergdorf Goodman.

Located on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, New York City, the store stocks products from luxury beauty brands including Chanel, Dior, Tom Ford and Marc Jacobs.

The full collection from Pat McGrath Labs is set to launch in the retailer, as well as limited edition exclusives.

Commenting on the deal, McGrath said: “Bergdorf Goodman is the quintessential retailer and global icon, and I am thrilled to have Pat McGrath Labs featured here in a such a major way.

“This retail experience really gives us a chance to bring the brand story and my vision to life.”

McGrath has been called the most influential make-up artist by Vogue and is known for her use of exotic materials, such as feathers, gold leaf, pearls and leather in her beauty looks.

She has also worked across fashion shows for Christine Dior, Givenchy, Louis Vuitton, Stella McCartney, Alexander McQueen and Maison Margiela.

Linda Fargo, Senior VP for Women’s Fashion Director and Store Presentation at Bergdorf, added: “Pat McGrath is to beauty what the best of class designers are to fashion.

“We wanted Pat to have the stage and the context of a true fashion venue to reflect her talent and accomplishments and to make make a piece of Pat available to our clients.”

The new concession will be showcased on the main 400sqft floor shop floor of the Bergdorf store.

McGrath is set to make an appearance at the store on 9 February.
