Make-up artist adds Phantom 002 to range

Make-up artist and Global Creative Director at Max Factor, Pat McGrath, is expanding her range of cosmetics. After sharing hints on Instagram for a number of weeks, McGrath launched Phantom 002 at an exclusive launch party last night.

The event was hosted by Vogue magazine and held at Kellogg’s Diner in New York. Guests shared pictures from the event online with the hashtags #PatsDiner and #Phantom002, with several modelling the new product.

Details about the new product remain limited, but Phantom 002 appears to be a multi-use kit containing several coloured pigments, an eyeliner, eye gloss and several applicaion brushes. Shades included are: Gold, Blue, Copper and Fuchsia. It is said to create a metallic, glossy and brightly-coloured smokey eye effect. The product is due to launch on Tuesday 15 December and will cost $240. On the Pat McGrath Labs website it is described as: "A defiantly decadent kit to create underground looks that span the decades."

Earlier this year, McGrath debuted Gold 001 – a highly pigmented, multi-use product that sold out shortly after its release. A full range from the make-up artist is expected to launch at some point in 2016.
