Pleats Please turns up the intensity with new variant

Issey Miyake Parfums' (BPI) Pleats Please has followed the debut of Pleats Please edt with an edp version.

Exactly one year after the debut of the edt, the new edp is said to be an “ode to violet”. Reflecting this, the juice is tinted purple in recognition of the fragrance's signature note. The scent is composed around a violet note, which is combined in the heart of the scent with peony and sweet pea, while the base reveals patchouli, vanilla and cedar for a “tender and gourmand facet”.

The iconic Pleats Please bottle remains the same, with the signature cap featuring finely pleated petals to create a “3D embodiment of the 2D image of the pleat”. Please Please edp is priced from €56. Last year, BPI launched a long awaited fragrance dedicated to Issey Miyake’s diffusion Pleats Please brand. The brand, which was launched by Miyake in 1993, offers lightweight pleated garments for women.
